Canceled flight or delayed flight? Get compensation of up to DKK 4,500 – that’s what you’re entitled to if your flight is canceled or delayed.

1) Ask for an explanation of WHY your flight was canceled or delayed, in writing if possible
valuable later when you need to apply for compensation or reimbursement.

2) If your flight is canceled (or very late), the airline is obligated to offer you an ALTERNATIVE

3) Remember to secure DOCUMENTATION for what is happening! If the airline offers you an unacceptable
rescheduling of your trip, you should ask for the offer in writing. You are rarely obligated to wait for
days to get on to your destination.

4) You are entitled to reasonable ACCOMMODATION. If the delay is of longer duration, you are entitled to
ACCOMMODATION. If the airline does not fulfill its obligations, you can buy food and
beverages in reasonable quantities and subsequently claim reimbursement from the airline

5) In case of flight delay: Remember to secure documentation of when the plane’s DOORS OPEN (e.g. you can film it with your cell phone if you have a cell phone).
