Lufthansa flight compensation
You may be entitled to up to DKK 4,500 for a Lufthansa cancellation
Lufthansa cancellations naturally inconvenience passengers.
If you are affected by a Lufthansa cancellation, you are generally entitled to either DKK 1,865 (250 Euro), DKK 2,985 (400 Euro) or DKK 4,500 (600 Euro) in compensation. The amount depends on the length of your trip.
Compensation is a kind of flight compensation for the cancellation.
The rules on compensation for canceled flights follow from Regulation (EC) No 261/2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 11 February 2004 establishing common rules on compensation and assistance to air passengers in the event of denied boarding and of cancellation or long delay of flights.
With more than 100 million passengers annually, it is inevitable that Lufthansa will cancel flights or that Lufthansa flights will be delayed. However, Lufthansa is considered one of the world’s most punctual airlines.
At Flyadvokaten, we know all about your rights in the event of a canceled flight with Lufthansa. We are the only law firm in Denmark specializing in air passenger rights and have more than 10 years of experience.
And the price for flight assistance with us is understandable. We offer NO CURE, NO PAY. This means that we only need a fee if we succeed in getting you compensation from Lufthansa. In other words, it is risk-free for you to leave the work to us.

About Lufthansa
Lufthansa is Germany’s national airline.
The “original” Lufthansa was founded in 1926, but after – virtually – all civilian flights were suspended during World War II, Lufthansa went bankrupt after the war.
In the early 1950s, a new company started up under the same name, and today Lufthansa is Europe’s largest airline, excluding Air France-KLM. In 2021, the airline had 102 million passengers.
Lufthansa also owns a number of other airlines, including Swiss airline SWISS and low-cost carrier Germanwings.
Lufthansa has an extensive route network to the USA, Canada and most of the world, and is also – like SAS – part of the “Star Alliance”. Furthermore, Lufthansa – together with Air Canada, United Airlines, Swiss, Austrian Airlines and SN Brussels Airlines – is part of the “Atlantic Joint Venture” alliance
